Traditional Marketing & ROI

Traditional Marketing – Where is the ROI?

While some traditional marketing undoubtedly delivers a return on an advertiser’s investment, it is becoming more and more clear that the uncertainty about that exact ROI is impossible to ignore.

What is the ROI?

Jerry wants to know too!

This is even more clear when we have so many channels today that provide us with the ability to track ROI very precisely and accurately.  If you are a business that continues to dump money into traditional advertising hoping that you will get some sort of return on your investment, it is time for a change.  Google, Bing, Facebook, & LinkedIn are just a few advertising platforms that allow us to track ROI.

There are all kinds of other reasons to use these channels that include precise demographic targeting, ad relevancy, and behavior targeting.  But even if we couldn’t use these other extremely powerful tools, doesn’t it seem like a better idea to advertise on a platform where we know exactly what we are getting in return?

If you are reluctant to move from traditional marketing over to the digital platforms with these incredible capabilities, it is time to take the leap.  The great thing is that you can start as slowly or a quickly as you would like.  It isn’t simple, but there are all kinds of resources available to help you do it well.

So get out there and learn more about it! You’ll wonder how you ever lived without knowing the ROI.
